Arsene Wenger Brags About What He Sees In His Squad
Arsene Wenger has bragged about how he sees this season’s Arsenal squad.
The gunners are facing Norwich City today as they hope to get a win and qualify for the next round of the EFL Cup which Arsenal has never won since he took over the club two decades ago. The gunners are expected to field a squad today consisting of players who haven’t been regulars in the English Premier League like Jack Wilshere and Olivier Giroud who recently won the FIFA PUSKAS AWARD on Monday.
Arsene Wenger says that he loves and trusts his current squad as he hopes they lead him to silverware and the French manager bragged how his team has a lot of depth in most positions.
“We have so much offensive force on the bench as well, It’s really a strong point of the club at the moment.’ the manager told Daily Star
‘All these players do well, play well and they deserve to play. Fortunately, we have important games every week, so I can give competition to everybody.”
The Arsenal team has been a club that has always been struck by injuries hence failing to win any major silverware and the manager has always been getting youngsters from the academy squad to facilitate the injured senior players but it seems that’s not the case this season.
Arsene Wenger has been saying this is the best squad he has had in years but what has been surprising to gooners is that this squad started the season on a poor note which has showed that this team is actually the same as the old ones that failed to win the English Premier League in the past seasons. The gunners are currently in the 5th position with 16 points after nine matches which have so far been played, however the poor start to the 2017/18 campaign, football analysts believe that Arsene Wenger should always use the type of lineup he made against Everton on Sunday.
The gunners have won four and lost one of their last five matches while Norwich City have won three matches and drawn two of their last five matches making the gunners the favourites to win this match tomorrow.
