The gunners have performed poorly in the first let of this season and will be looking to change that in the January transfer window with 2nd legs beginning.

The gunners have been linked with a number of players who are said to be on the radar of Arsene Wenger but it seems the manager won’t have much activity in the January transfer window but might sign one player.

There has been a report by Daily Express which has revealed that the Arsenal boss has told the club to finish up the negotiations of Steven N’zonzi‘s transfer to the Emirates stadium so that they can announce him as a gunner as soon as the January transfer opens which is just a few days away. There has been continuous reports linking the French international to the gunners but it now seems that the deal has started maturing because Arsene Wenger thinks that he is the man to turn things around for his squad.

It is said that the Arsenal transfer target had an argument with his current Sevilla manager and publicity said that the coach pointed fingers at him after 3-3 draw with Liverpool in a UEFA Champions League match. It is said that this has affected him so much and could have contributed in his desire to leave the Spanish club to join the gunners because he is keen to be part of Arsene Wenger’s men.

The gunners will be delighted with this news saying that their boss has instructed the club to sign the 29 year old because there were rumours that Arsene Wenger had made a decision not to sign any player in this upcoming January transfer window and that would instead be doing rotation of his squad in order to improve performance of his team in these upcoming tough fixtures.

The acquisition of Steven N’Zonzi will mean that some players at the Emirates stadium will now have to work hard to keep their positions in the starting lineups.
