Arsenal and Chelsea have both made bids for Karim Benzema, according to reports, it is said that the gunners are working hard to try and find a perfect replacement for soon to leave Alexis Sanchez.

Real Madrid chiefs are believed to have lost patience with the striker and this has led to reports linking him to the English Premier League but he is set to snub any move to England.

Benzema has struggled this season, scoring just twice since the start of the campaign. Despite being a regular in Zidane’s side, he hasn’t been able to improve his form and Madrid’s president Fiorentino Perez is unhappy with his performances.

Chelsea who are reportedly in the market for a back up striker to Morata are also believed to be interested in Benzema.

However, the report says Benzema doesn’t want to leave Madrid and will snub a move to any of the Premier League clubs. The striker apparently believes he will continue to play regularly as long as Zinedine Zidane is manager.

The Real boss has shown so much trust in the striker since he took over at the Bernabeu and it was for this reason Morata pushed to join Chelsea, so Benzema could be forgiven to think his place is guaranteed regardless of his form.

However, I have a problem with this story. If Arsenal or any other team are looking to solve their goal scoring problem, why move for a player who has found the back of the net just twice?

I don’t think this is even an issue of the player turning down interest rather an issue of no one being serious about signing him.

Hey am Olikenyo Olasunkanmi I have been an arsenal fan for the past six years and I love the club I like to do anything to show my interest in the club.
