Although there hasn’t been any official statement from Jack Wilshere but it’s believed that the reason why the English international isn’t in a hurry to sign is because the new deal he is offered will see him get a pay cut on his current wages so he is still thinking it over.
We are going to take a look whether Arsenal should make deal according to Wilshere’s demands or not;
1. Wilshere has constantly been getting injured and missing many games in the past?
This could be the reason why the Arsenal officials could have given him a deal which sees him get a pay cut. The midfielder is an un reliable player who is usually vulnerable to injuries so it could be that the club didn’t want to put much money into him.
2. Arsenal could still be fierce without him?
Well, Wilshere isn’t another Mesut Ozil who could be a big loss if he left. The gunners also have some promising youngsters who could be a good replacement for the 26 year old.
Now that we have looked at why the gunners shouldn’t kneel for Wilshere to sign a new deal, let’s take a look at some of the reasons the club should make sure he signs.
1. Jack Wilshere is a fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium
The 26 year old made his breakthrough at the age of 17 and he has over the years proved him quality to the fans who like his playing style. The club could try and convince the English international to stay so that the fans get happy because some are threatening on twitter not to buy tickets if the club doesn’t offer Wilshere a new deal.
2. Jack Wilshere is the most passionate Arsenal player ( fans perspective)
The Arsenal fans believe that Wilshere is the most committed players at the Emirates Stadium because he has always said in the past that he will never leave the Emirates Stadium, we recently made a poll and the 26 year old won being the most passionate players at Arsenal.
The supporters will be waiting for what will happen next in the coming months to see if Wilshere signs the new deal.
