Wenger Reveals Truth Why He Is Leaving Arsenal

Arsene Wenger announced on Friday that he was going to step down as Arsenal manager at the end of the season and he didn't reveal much information as why he was doing this but he has revealed the main reason he is stepping down.

Arsene Wenger confirmed to the public on Friday that he will quit his job as Arsenal manager at the end of the season, something which came as a surprise to many because no one expected this.

The manager was very happy after the gunners scored last-minute goals to get the precious three points from West Ham United who wanted to take the match into a draw so that share the points however late goals from Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette were able to seal off a comfortable win against the hammers.

Arsene Wenger revealed that he thought at it for long to make the decision to leave the Emirates Stadium but says that he felt that he was not giving his best to the fans but he isn’t quitting because of criticism from supporters.

“That is all I want to say. It is nothing to do with the fans. The fans were not happy and I can understand that and I have to live with that and I can accept that.” Wenger is quoted by MIRROR SPORT.

It seems the manager was a little hurt by the criticism the supporters were showing him but he says that they had the right to say this because Arsenal isn’t just an England club but a team that is supported from different corners of the world like Africa, Asia and America.

Arsene Wenger has spent 22 years at the North London club and he even became a share holder as time went by with him getting more respect from the board members who have never had any thoughts of sacking him because he earned the club huge amounts of money.

The Arsenal board is currently in the mess of looking for a manager in a short period of time because most of the best managers are already at their respective clubs but it is said that the gunners might appoint a legend to manage the club.

Arsene Wenger has however avoided any questions about his future after leaving the gunners at the end of the season but most football analysts believe that he is still interested in coaching because that’s what his life is all about.
