Aaron Ramsey’s Agent Reveals Latest About Contract Renewal Talks
Aaron Ramsey has one year remaining on his current contract with Arsenal and the club is yet to start negotiations with the player according to his agent David Baldwin who revealed this via an Instagram reply.
Aaron Ramsey’s contract will be expiring at the end of next season but most clubs tend to renew the deals of their players earlier to stop other clubs from making a move for them. The gunners are yet to offer the Welshman a new deal yet the player is also interested in staying at the Emirates Stadium for more years.
Ramsey was named Arsenal’s player of the season for the 2017/18 campaign in which he impressed the fans but there has been reports that the player is wanted by top European clubs who would like to take him away from England if the North Londoners aren’t ready to keep him at the club anymore.
The 27 year old’s agent David Baldwin has said that they are still waiting for the gunners to start talks with them over a new deal via a reply on Instagram. The situation of Ramsey is similar to the one of Wilshere as the Arsenal team has put all its focus on appointing a new manager instead of also working on issues about players like the renewal of player contracts.
We reported in March that the gunners had started negotiations to offer Ramsey a new deal but it seems the club didn’t start the talks with the player’s agent since Arsene Wenger announced his resignation a month after which put the club in a shock and are now on a hunt for a new manager.
Aaron Ramsey arrived at the Stadium in 2008 and he has become a fan favourite due to the impressive seasons he had during the 2010- 2014 years but he sustained a long-term injury in 2010 which kept him out for 248 days as by information by Transfermarkt and that injury affected him so much because he has never been the same as in the past.
It is said that the gunners will be ready to accept a bid for Aaron Ramsey which is above £40 million in this summer transfer window.
