Report: Unai Emery To Give Lucas Perez A Chance To Impress

Arsenal forgotten star Lucas Perez will be given a chance to revive his career at the Emirates Stadium by new manager Unai Emery who is reportedly ready to offer him chances next season.

Unai Emery was named as Arsenal manager yesterday as he takes charge of the North London club to try to revive the Club’s name which has deteriorated under Arsene Wenger in the past few months.

Unai Emery comes to the club well knowing it is a top club around the world and he will come with his own tactics which will certainly be different from the one used by Wenger. It has been reported by Eldesmarque that the new manager will bring back Arsenal forgotten star Lucas Perez who spent the 2017/18 season on loan at Deportivo.

The report says that the new Arsenal boss wants to offer the Spanish international a chance to impress him and the fans so that he could get a spot in the regular starting lineup of the gunners in the up coming season. Perez has been instructed by the North Londoners to come back to London to be with the team as they prepare for the pre season which starts in July.

Lucas Perez arrived at the Emirates Stadium in the 2016 summer transfer window and his first season did not go well as he only managed to make 13 appearances. Most Arsenal fans used to accuse Arsene Wenger of ruining the Arsenal career of the Spanish striker because he wasn’t giving him enough chances yet he was a proven goal scorer in his previous club.

Unai Emery will likely be forced to loan one of the players at Arsenal which will probably be Alex Iwobi if he really does intend to give Lucas Perez another chance to dazzle the North Londoners.
