Santi Cazorla Officially Leaves Arsenal And He Has A Message For The Fans
Santi Cazorla spent 18 months on the sidelines due to a knee injury which has kept him from missing the whole of last season so Arsenal have decided not to offer him a new deal and the Spanish international has left the North Londoners.
Santi Cazorla has officially left the Emirates Stadium after spending six years in the English capital but the Spanish international knew how he was not going to get a new deal since his career at Arsenal had got ruined with constant long-term injuries.
The club announced via it’s official website that the midfielder had left the team since his contract was to end in the coming weeks and he will be rejoining his former club Villarreal according to reports in Spain. Cazorla was a fan favourite of the Arsenal fans and they will surely miss him because they like him so much because of his skillful playing style.
Arsenal also released a video of Santi Cazorla saying good-bye to the fans and thanking them for the support they have shown him all these years, and talked about how he will always remember the FA Cup final win in 2014.

The Arsenal fans are disappointed that the club is letting go of the midfielder but they also know it was inevitable for a club to keep nursing injuries of players while they get their weekly pay checks so the club is raising more money for the new signings.
Arsenal director Ivan Gazidis also revealed the love he had for Santi Cazorla as a football player;
“Santi is always one of my favourite players to watch. His natural ability with both feet, his speed of thought and movement were central to our best performances in recent years.” said Gazidis.
There were reports last week that Santi Cazorla has refused an offer to become a back room coach of Mikel Arteta but he reportedly rejected the offer because he is still interested in playing football.
