Arsenal To Announce Signing Of Bernd Leno On Tuesday
Arsenal will reportedly announce the signing of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday this week after many weeks of reports linking the German to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal will announce the signing of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday this week after the North Londoners have agreed personal terms with the gunners.
Arsenal will announce the signing of the goalkeeper on 19th of this month according to SportBILD who claim that the deal is finally done after many weeks of speculations about the transfer of the German international to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal supporters have for long been urging Arsene Wenger to sign a new goalkeeper because they believe their current goalies are old but their new manager Unai Emery has also seen the importance of signing a new replacement for the aging Arsenal goalkeepers.
Bernd Leno is an experienced goalkeeper and has been Bayer Leverkusen’s first choice shot stopper for the past seven years, he has enough experience and it seems new gunners boss Unai Emery wants to bring some competition to Petr Cech who has been reluctant because Arsene Wenger favoured him over other goalkeepers.
The 26-year-old has played in the Bundesliga for many years so the Arsenal fans will be hoping that he could get used to the English Premier League as quickly as possible because the North Londoners are set to finally be title contenders next season.
Arsenal will likely have to let go of either Petr Cech or David Ospina but it will be the Colombian international because he has for long been linked with several clubs including Beskitas.
