Lucas Torreira’s Transfer To Arsenal Is A Done Deal
Arsenal supporters are eagerly waiting for announcements of arrival of their transfer targets and Lucas Torreira’s deal to the Emirates Stadium seems to be completed but not yet announced.
Arsenal are close to finishing their third signing of the summer after it’s reported that Lucas Torreira’s transfer to the Emirates Stadium is confirmed by a football agent and with some other signs that show that he will be moving to London.
The gunners have been linked with the Uruguayan international for about two weeks now and the player is now with Uruguay national football team in Russia for the FIFA WORLD CUP but he was very secretive when was asked if he is now an Arsenal player and here is the reply he gave;
“No I don’t know, Arsenal are a good team, one of the most important in the world but as this moment I am focused on playing for my country.”
It is pretty understandable that the player cannot just say that he has joined another club before the negotiations are complete but even Sampdoria President said a few days ago that the player was to leave the club this summer yet Arsenal are the only team interested in the midfielder.
Arsenal fans have been impressed with Lucas Torreira before he even plays for the club after they watched Uruguay’s match against FIFA WORLD CUP hosts Russia where the midfielder had a good game as he bossed the midfield.
Arsenal were once also linked with Celta Vigo star Stanislav Lobotka in the past so the player’s agent has also become the latest person to confirm that the gunners have completed the signing of Lucas Torreira in a statement he made in the interview he had with La Voz de Galicia as he explained that why his client won’t be coming to the Emirates Stadium.
“Arsenal have bought Torreira to play six so I don’t think it’s going to happen.” he said.
Arsenal fans will be waiting for an official announcement from the club on the signing of Lucas Torreira after the World Cup ends since even the player says he wants to first focus on World Cup.
