Arsenal Transfer Target Cristian Pavot’s Agent Replies To Rumours Linking Him To The Emirates Stadium

Unai Emery was said to have been interested in Cristian Pavot but his agent has denied those claims.

Arsenal was linked with Argentine international Cristian Pavot a few days ago after reports came out that Unai Emery wanted the player to be a replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

The Boca Juniors star made 26 appearances and scored six goals last season which helped him get chosen among the 23-man squad of Argentina which went to Russia for the FIFA WORLD CUP.

Cristian Pavot’s agent has confirmed that the gunners haven’t made a move for his client yet even though they were reports that the North Londoners that the gunners had already made a move for the 22-year-old.

Pavot’s agent Fernando Hidalgo was asked about Arsenal’s move for the Boca Juniors star and he said;

“There is still nothing official from Arsenal.” he told Radio La Red.

The gunners have tried to improve their squad before the start of the season as Unai Emery wants to resolve all the weak points in his squad before the 2018/19 season kicks off in a month’s time.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will announce the signing of Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria after his participation in the FIFA World Cup and the Uruguay international will be Unai Emery’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window, what a start to a new hierarchy.
