Unai Emery Makes Update On Arsenal’s Move For Steven N’Zonzi
Steven N’Zonzi has been linked with the gunners for weeks but Arsenal manager Unai Emery has denied those claims in an interview he had yesterday at the London Coloney.
Unai Emery who is Arsenal’s new boss has just been in control of the club since May but he has however already made an effect on the gunners squad.
Bernd Leno, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Sokratis, Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira have all joined the North London side to equip the team this transfer window.
The Spanish manager however revealed that the gunners could still be open to a move for another player in this summer transfer window if the right opportunity comes so the gooners hope that the Arsenal team signs Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi.
Nonetheless, World Cup finalist Steven Nzonzi who is now with the France squad in Russia has been one of the more probable targets and Emery has decided reports linking the French international to the gunners.
Unai Emery said;
“I know him but we haven’t made a move for him.”
Unai Emery has been very quiet during transfer negotiations with the players which the gunners have signed so far because he only releases statements when the deals are completely done so this could give Arsenal supporters some glimmer of hope that they could still get Steven N’Zonzi this summer.
