Unai Emery was appointed as Arsenal’s new manager in May after Arsene Wenger resigned from his position as gunners boss after spending two decades at the North London club but finally called it quits this year.
Unai Emery was chosen among many Arsenal’s potential candidates to replace Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal board decided that the Spanish manager was the right man for the job, the supporters also are already impressed with the new manager because he has brought in new signings at the club quickly than they expected.
Unai Emery held his first press conference at Arsenal’s training ground, the London Coloney and he was asked on whether he will seek some advice from his predecessor Arsene Wenger as he goes into his first season at the Emirates Stadium.
“Each coach needs to know the players. Not all the coaches have the same relationship with a player and I have my personality. I want to know with my direct opinion, with my direct conversations with the player. ” Unai Emery told the reporters.
“I have information on the players for the club, from the people around me. The information with Arsene is also important for me but the best is my direct relationship and conversations with the players.”
Although Unai Emery didn’t give a direct no as answer about getting advice from Arsene Wenger but he indirectly says that he would like to do everything on his own with out the help of the former Arsenal manager.
Arsene Wenger has however not received any managerial job at Arsenal even though the club would be willing to offer it to him, but it seems the Frenchman is still interested in coaching clubs but he is now jobless at the moment.
