Lucas Torreira Opens Up On His Happiness After West Ham Win
Arsenal new midfielder Lucas Torreira said that he was happy to have taken part in the win against West Ham United on Saturday.

Arsenal signed Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria in the summer transfer window and the Uruguayan international hasn’t been in the starting eleven in the first three Premier League matches of the gunners.
Arsenal played against West Ham United on Saturday and the gunners were first held to a 1-1 draw in the first 45 minutes, Unai Emery brought in Lucas Torreira in the second half and the midfielder changed the game as he improved the midfield of the gunners which looked lacking in the first half.
Arsenal fans have urged Unai Emery to be selecting Lucas Torreira in the starting eleven because they liked his performance in the FIFA World Cup as he helped Uruguay to reach the quarter finals of the world’s most watched competition. Lucas Torreira admitted that he was happy that they got their first win of the season and says that he was happy to have taken part.
“I’m pleased that we’ve got the win at home against a very good team in West Ham after starting the season with two defeats. I was happy to get on too and help the team.” the new Arsenal midfielder told the Arsenal press.
Arsenal fans have questioned Unai Emery’s decision to bench Lucas Torreira in the last three matches because they believe that the Uruguayan international is better than Granit Xhaka or Matteo Guendouzi who have started ahead of him three times this season.
The gunners won’t be playing this week since we have gone into the international break but the Arsenal fans will be hoping to see Lucas Torreira on the starting eleven that faces Cardiff City.
