Matteo Guendouzi Voted As Arsenal Player Of The Month
Arsenal fans have voted Matteo Guendouzi as their best player in the month of August and he has also sent them a message.

Arsenal has confirmed that Matteo Guendouzi has been voted as Arsenal’s player of the month for August due to the fantastic performance he had in the first month of the new season.
Matteo Guendouzi beat Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Petr Cech to the best Arsenal player of the month award for August, a statement from the club’s official website read;
“Guendouzi received 68 per cent of the votes cast, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Petr Cech finishing second and third place respectively.”
Matteo Guendouzi has been in the starting eleven for the gunners in all of their matches played in August and the decision by Unai Emery to start him in the loss against Manchester City raised criticism on the new Arsenal boss because everyone thought that the young Frenchman would be only taking part in competitions like Europa League and FA Cup when the gunners had just signed him.
Matteo Guendouzi has however surprised everyone in these four matches because he has had great performances even though the North Londoners lost two of those matches, against Manchester City and Chelsea. Matteo Guendouzi was overwhelmed with the support which Arsenal fans showed to him by voting him as their best performing player in the month of August, and he sent them a message via Twitter to thank them;
?Player of the Month of August ?YOU ARE MY MOTIVATION ?
I’m working with passion for you guys ❤️
Thank you for your support ?⚪️

He wrote;

Matteo Guendouzi will be looking forward to replicating that performance this month and he is lucky that Unai Emery favours him so much because it is not common for a top flight manager to play a non proven 19-year-old in important matches like the tough games they had in August.
