Aaron Ramsey has been at Arsenal for many years now but his current deal at the Emirates Stadium will be expiring at the end of this season but Unai Emery included him in the starting eleven against Watford today despite the transfer rumours surrounding his future.

There has been reports in the last few days which say that the North Londoners have decided to remove their new contract which they had offered Aaron Ramsey because he was demanding so much yet the club doesn’t want to desperately give him a lucrative deal like which they gave Mesut Ozil earlier this year.

Aaron Ramsey was in the starting lineup that played Watford today at the Emirates Stadium but he had a woeful performance and was in the second half substituted by Unai Emery but he looked un happy as he walked off the pitch. It was clear that he believed that he should still be on the pitch and Unai Emery was asked on what he had to say about the reaction of the Welshman.

“I want competitive spirit. When the players want to play every moment to help the team, I want this character.” Unai Emery told Arsenal.com.

Unai Emery has always said this when asked on the reaction of his players if they get angry at being brought out from matches because the Spanish boss believes that this is a great way to make them become better because you got to earn your spot in the starting eleven.

Aaron Ramsey has never made a comment on his future ever since this season begun but Arsenal boss Unai Emery always says in the press conferences that he doesn’t care about whether he signs a new deal or not as long as his performing well this season.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
