The January transfer window is around the corner and the Arsenal fans want to see some new faces in the winter transfer window but Arsenal chief Raul Sanllehi recently said that they have no plans of signing anyone until the 2019 summer transfer window.

It has now been reported by the Daily Star that Arsenal boss Unai Emery wants to sign Manchester United star Juan Mata on a free transfer in the summer since the current contract of the midfielder at the Old Trafford expires next year.

The report says that Manchester United have failed to convince Juan Mata to sign a new deal yet Jose Mourinho wants him to stay at the club because he is among their best players in their squad. But it is however uncertain why Juan Mata doesn’t want to extend his stay at Manchester United.

Unai Emery worked with Juan Mata when he was still at Valencia and it is believed that he hopes to use that relationship in convincing him to join Arsenal next summer. It is however very surprising that the gunners would be interested in Juan Mata because they have a lot of attacking midfielders who play the same position as the Spanish international.

Juan Mata is a very talented midfielder who would be another player added to the creative list of Arsenal players but their main aim should be on improving their defence according to most football pundits.

I just love writing and football so much ever since the 2000's when football got popular in our country. I am a self esteemed person who believes is am always right.
