Henrikh Mkhitaryan makes promise to Arsenal fans
Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has promised the fans that he will try to keep improving on his performances.

Arsenal signed Henrikh Mkhitaryan in a swap deal which saw Alexis Sanchez join Manchester United after the Chilean international decided that he wouldn’t extend his contract at the Emirates Stadium even though the club wanted to keep him. Mkhitaryan was at first praised by the Arsenal supporters when he had just arrived at the North London club.
Mkhitaryan left Arsenal supporters disappointed after he had a poor performance against Bournemouth and some claimed that the chances he missed could have cost them the three points if the Cherries equalised in the second half. Mkhitaryan was selected in the squad of Arsenal that traveled to Ukraine on Wednesday and since he was once a player there, he faced the press with Unai Emery and he promised to improve on his performances. He was also asked on how he has found life at the Emirates Stadium;
“I would say it’s a bit too early to say something about it but I’m very pleased to be here and I’m trying my best.” Mkhitaryan is quoted by the Metro.
“It wasn’t very easy at the start but I kept working every day and game after game, I’m trying to improve my game.”
“I would say everything is going well, I’m very happy at the moment and I hope to continue in the same way.”
Since Mkhitaryan will be facing Vorskla tonight, it seems the Armenian international will be benched in their match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. The gunners will be hoping to get a win against Vorskla today and Mkhitaryan will be hoping to improve on his performances in this game so that he could be considered for the North London Derby.
