Unai Emery Speaks Out On Arsenal Team To Face Sporting Lisbon
Arsenal boss Unai Emery has hint at using a very strong squad today against Sporting Lisbon because it’s an important match.

The gunners have today welcomed Sporting Lisbon at the Emirates and this is their fourth UEFA Europa League match. Arsenal has beaten all the teams in its Europa League group and the return legs have begun with the gunners welcoming the Portuguese side at its home.
Unai Emery must be pleased that his second eleven hasn’t lost any of these three UEFA Europa League matches but for today, the match is very important because they will be considered to have qualified to the next round if they defeat Sporting Lisbon. So it’s up to Unai Emery to come with his best squad to earn these three valuable points or just continue with using his second eleven in the UEFA Europa League as he has done in its last three UEL matches.
Unai Emery was asked this in his pre-match press conference on Wednesday on if the gunners being one win away from qualifying to the Europa League round of 32 will impact what lineup he chooses to face Sporting Lisbon. He said as quoted by the Arsenal Media.
“Of course the first (target) for us is to finish first in this group. Tomorrow is a very important match because they are second in the table and if we win, we are first in the group. That’s our clear target tomorrow.”
So in Unai Emery’s statement, you can clearly see that the Arsenal boss takes this match very important so we will probably see players like Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette on the team sheet to face Sporting Lisbon even though they might be on the bench. We will probably see a strong starting eleven today.
