Arsenal Vs Burnley: Unai Emery needs to redeem himself

Arsenal will tomorrow welcome Burnley at the Emirates Stadium and the gunners will be hoping to get back to winning ways after losing twice in a row.

Burnley FC under Sean Dyche have proved to be one of the hardest Premier League defensive teams to crack despite that they are winless in 10 league matches with a total of 15 points. Arsenal on the other hand have lost two games in two weeks. They will look to redeem themselves in tomorrow’s afternoon match at the Emirates.

The spotlight will be on Arsenal after losing to a team in the relegation zone. The gunners are still recovering from their defensive frailties with Sead Kolasinac and Stephan Lichtsteiner still doubtfuls in tomorrow’s fixture. In addition to that Rob Holding, Dinos Mavropanos, Shkrodan Mustafi and Hector Bellerin are all sidelined. Welbeck won’t be considered any time soon because he has a long-term injury.

However the good news is that Sokratis is available after suspension. After a recent dry spell front man, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to at least come with hunger for goals, if Unai doesn’t decide to go with former Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazatte.

A point will be a fair result for Burnley but if they can get anything, it will be a consolation for them. Burnley will be without Aaron Lennon who is recovering from a knee surgery. The doubtful cases are those of Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Robbie Brady.

Burnley will pride in having a close-knit defense that has conceded not many goals this season while Unai will be looking to patch up his leaking defense.

Although the odds are bent towards Arsenal but that won’t matter much to Dyche because he will draw courage from what fellow strugglers Saints managed to do by exploiting the gunners. In addition, Burnley also recently played a 3-4-3 formation in preparation for this fixture.
