Unai Emery’s provisional squad to face Qarabag released

Arsenal will take on Azerbaijan Premier League side Qarabag on Thursday and it’s going to be an entertaining match because both of the teams have nothing to lose because one is confirmed to have qualified while the other has been eliminated from the European competition despite the result of this encounter.
The gunners will come into this match with confidence because they are unbeaten in their last 21 matches but Qarabag has performed well in its domestic league matches so we will now have to wait for an encounter between the youthful Arsenal side on Thursday. Arsenal’s provisional squad to face Qarabag has been released by the Mirror and it seems Unai Emery is going to field a similar squad to that used against Vorskla a few weeks ago.
Leno, Martinez, Cech, Bellerin, Jenkinson, Lichtsteiner, Koscielny, Papastathopoulos, Medley, Monreal, Kolasinac, Xhaka, Elneny, Gilmour, Torreira, Willock, Maitland-Niles, Guendouzi, Ramsey, Smith Rowe, Iwobi, Ozil, Mkhitaryan, Lacazette, Aubameyang, Saka, Nketiah
Arsenal’s starting eleven will probably have some youngsters like Nketiah, Willock and Maitland-Niles because their performance in Ukraine will have earned them some trust from Unai Emery. The Arsenal boss will probably include some experienced players like Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny because they have missed the last three matches because they were on the sidelines.
A win for the gunners will see them progress to the UEFA Europa League round of 32 while unbeaten because they haven’t lost in the last five UEL group stage matches.
