Arsenal player hints at leaving as Unai Emery plans to cut on wage budget

Arsenal will only be able to sign players permanently if they have sold someone to get the funds to use.

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery confirmed a few weeks ago that the gunners can only sign players on loan deals and even though he didn’t disclose more but it’s said that this is because of Arsenal’s high wage bill. So the Arsenal boss will be forced to sell some of his players and it seems like Mohamed Elneny could leave the Emirates Stadium this month.

Mohamed Elneny arrived at the Emirates Stadium three years ago but he has however not met the expectations of Arsenal fans under two coaches, this season, Matteo Guendouzi is even ahead of him in the pecking order at the club because Unai Emery doesn’t trust him and only gives him chances in the FA Cup and UEFA Europa League.

Mohamed Elneny has hint at leaving Arsenal in this January transfer window as he tweeted his 3 year anniversary message but he added some things which showed that he might be moving on after being unwanted at the Emirates Stadium.

“The 14th of Jan is a day that will always be engraved in my heart… Three years ago, on this same day, I joined the Arsenal family… I call it family, because it is how it’s like to be here at Arsenal..I’m grateful for every single moment during those 3 years, the tough moments” wrote Mohamed Elneny.

“and the many happy ones.. I’m grateful for the one of a kind fans, for the coaches, for the colleagues who became real brothers, for everyone.. I’m grateful for the past and I’m very much looking forward to the future..”

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery is on a task of ensuring that the gunners cut on their wage budget so that he could get some funds to sign his preferred players and we all know that he doesn’t rate Mohamed Elneny highly because he even left him out of the 18 man squad that played against West Ham United on Saturday.

Mohamed Elneny has in most transfer windows been linked with a move to Leicester City and Arsenal even rejected a £15million bid for the Egyptian international in the past but they will surely accept it this time.
