Inter Milan speak out on Ivan Perisic’s situation as deal to Arsenal nears

Arsenal has been linked with a move for Inter Milan's winger Ivan Perisic for some days now and the Italian club has spoken about the player.

Arsenal has been active in this January transfer window in terms of getting linked with many players but it is yet to sign anyone of them. Ivan Perisic has become the latest player to be linked with a move to Arsenal in these remaining days of this transfer window.

Inter Milan director Beppe Marotta has confirmed that Ivan Perisic has officially handed in a transfer request to the Italian club amidst transfer rumours linking him with a move to the Emirates Stadium. Ivan Perisic was un used substitute in Inter Milan’s one nil loss to Torino.

Inter Milan director Beppe Marotta said while talking to Football Italia;

“No concrete offer for him as of yet. Let’s see what happens in the coming days. We will listen to the request of Perisic…he has put in a transfer request. We must try to please him but also respect his market value.”

So as per the statement by the Director of Inter Milan, the gunners will need to make contact with them as soon as possible since the transfer window will be closing in a few days from now. Some reports claim that Arsenal has already agreed personal terms with the Croatian international who is currently valued at £35million.

It is said that Arsenal wants to sign Ivan Perisic on a loan deal with an option to buy him permanently in the Summer transfer window and the Arsenal fans will be hoping that he is available for their game against Manchester City at the weekend.
