Monaco suspend Thierry Henry and his player reveals what kind of coach he is!
Thierry Henry started his managerial career in France as Monaco coach but he has however found life hard in Ligue one.
Monaco officially suspended Thierry Henry of his duties as manager and the club said that a further decision will be made about the future of the French international. This has been a bad start for Thierry Henry in his first season as a manager but as things stands, he will be sacked.
Monaco appointed him as their new manager two months ago but he has also failed to revive the team that was doing poorly before he came in and he has had personal scuffles with his players hence him getting suspended by the club owners. A statement from the club yesterday read;
“AS Monaco announces that it has decided to suspend Thierry Henry’s duties as coach of the first-team from this day and are waiting for a final decision.”
So we will now have to wait to see the decision which the club makes but most reports claim that the reason the club didn’t just say that he was sacked is because it wants to first settle his payments in his contract before they can officially say that he has left the club.
It seems Thierry Henry was getting too personal and emotional with his players because one of them exclusively told Goal France that the Arsenal legend would annoy everyone.
“He would also make examples of people and that annoyed a lot of people, he gave this haughty impression as if he would not consider anyone else’s opinion.” said the anonymous player.
