The gunners are yet to sign any player in this transfer window even though most football analysts have advised Unai Emery to sign new defenders.

Most of the Arsenal fans expected Unai Emery to try to sign defenders in the January transfer window but the gunners have surprisingly been linked with midfielders like Ever Banega and Denis Suarez who is likely to arrive at the Emirates Stadium in this transfer window. So here are a few reasons why Unai Emery won’t sign any defenders in this transfer window.

1. UNAI EMERY BELIEVES THAT HE HAS ENOUGH DEFENDERS

Arsenal’s only injured defender is Rob Holding because he is out for the rest of the season but the others like Shkodran Mustafi, Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal have short-term injuries, and will all be back by the end of this month. Unai Emery has welcomed back Koscielny to the Arsenal team and he looks sharp as seen in the Fulham match.

On top of that, Dinos Mavropanos has also returned to full training and he is an outstanding centre back that will be hoping to get into the first team in the coming weeks. So Unai Emery could believe that he has enough defenders to keep his team competitive until the season ends.

2. ARSENAL HAS NO MONEY TO SIGN DEFENDERS

Arsenal doesn’t look likely to sign any player in the January transfer window because even the current reports claim that Arsenal doesn’t have the £20million which Barcelona requests for Denis Suarez. So the gunners might not spend on defenders in this transfer window, simply because there’s no money to buy those required players.

I just love writing and football so much ever since the 2000's when football got popular in our country. I am a self esteemed person who believes is am always right.
