Arsenal legend reveals what Unai Emery will fail to accomplish this season
Arsenal legend Paul Merson has said that he believes that the gunners will beat Bournemouth but says that they won’t finish in the Premier League top four with Unai Emery.

Arsenal is being coached by a different manager other than Arsene Wenger for the First time in twenty years and everyone will be looking to see how the gunners perform under Unai Emery in this 2018/19 campaign. Arsene Wenger stepped down from his position as the Arsenal manager last season and the gunners didn’t wait for a long time until they appointed Unai Emery who had won the UEFA Europa League three consecutive times some time back.
Arsenal did show glimpses of being successful under Unai Emery this season but they have lost form ever since their 22 game unbeaten run ended in December at the hands of Southampton. Arsenal legend Paul Merson has however given an honest prediction about how Arsenal’s season will end this season, he says that the North Londoners will not be able to finish in the Premier League top four since the race is very tough because both Manchester United and Chelsea want to play UEFA Champions League next season.
The gunners are currently in the fourth position with 53 points, Manchester United with 52 while Chelsea have 50 but it has a game in hand. Arsenal’s former star Paul Merson says that Unai Emery could get a win vs Bournemouth but he still doesn’t see his team finishing in the Premier League top four.
“Arsenal are flat-track bullies, aren’t they? They finish these teams off, With Bournemouth ’s injuries, I can only see an Arsenal win. This would be another great result in the top-four race.” Paul Merson told Sky Sports.
“One point ahead of United, I’m still not sure I see Arsenal getting Champions League. They’ve got a bad result in them. They will be caught up in the end.”
