Arsenal head coach Unai Emery will this weekend be on pressure because his team will face an on form Manchester United side that has been impressive in the last few weeks. Emery will be hoping that his team puts the Rennes defeat behind them and get all the three points so that they can go back to the Premier League top four.

Arsenal legend Martin Keown has said that the gunners boss will need to use the tactics that they used in the 2-0 win over Chelsea to beat Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United side. The gunners were able to outclass Sarri’s side and had more chances of increasing the win to more than 2 goals because Unai Emery and his squad had chosen the right tactics to use against their fellow Londoners.

Arsenal legend Martin Keown believes that the tactics used that day will help Unai Emery get a win over Manchester United because their defence can be exposed when they are under pressure.

“Their defence can be exposed if they are put under pressure. Emery’s best chance of success is to return to the tactics which proved so successful in the 2-0 win over Chelsea.” Keown told the Daily Mail.

“That day, Arsenal used Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette as inside forwards with Aaron Ramsey breaking from midfield and forcing opponents into mistakes.”

It is however unlikely that Unai Emery will use the same tactics when he fully knows that the gunners will get exposed on the flanks if they use a diamond formation. And it seems like Unai Emery will definitely bench either Aubameyang or Lacazette because he prefers the 4-2-3-1 formation that only utilises one striker.
