Granit Xhaka sends Arsenal fans an update about his recovery
Granit Xhaka did not take part in Arsenal’s match against Newcastle United because of an injury that he sustained while on international duty.
Arsenal will this Sunday make a visit to Everton’s ground and Unai Emery will be hoping that everyone is fit because getting all the three points would be vital in their quest to be on the safe side in the Premier League top four race. Granit Xhaka has however updated the Arsenal fans about his recovery.
Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has started in doors training ahead of their game vs Everton at the weekend. Granit Xhaka got injured in Switzerland’s 3-3 draw with Denmark last week and he missed Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Newcastle United on Monday this week. The gunners will be hoping that Granit Xhaka quickly returns back because they look a bit more stable in the midfield when he is in the Arsenal squad.
Even though Granit Xhaka has not started training on the pitch but he has however posted two pictures on Instagram of him training alongside a physiotherapist. The post was captioned;
“I am working hard to get back on the pitch as soon as possible.” Granit Xhaka wrote on Instagram.
It is however worth to note that Granit Xhaka might not be involved in the match against Everton this weekend if he doesn’t train with his teammates on Friday and Saturday since Unai Emery has some other options to choose from. Arsenal’s head coach Unai Emery said that he was hopeful that Xhaka would start in the game vs Newcastle United and this shows how the boss values the Swiss midfielder.
