The UEFA Europa League is come back and Arsenal will welcome Valencia at the Emirates Stadium. Unai Emery will be hoping that his boys can begin their recovery by getting a win over the Spanish side.

Arsenal will this Thursday face Valencia in the UEFA Europa League semi finals and they will be hoping to get back to winning ways since they have lost three Premier League matches in a row. It’s now or never for Unai Emery’s men as they make a final push for European glory.
It’s just like last season where Arsenal reached the UEFA Europa League semi finals but were however eliminated by Spanish side Atletico Madrid. The gunners are this time facing Valencia which is also a Spanish club but the Arsenal supporters will be hoping that they win this trophy this time since they are with a new manager and a couple of new signings.
Arsenal have this season had shocking results in the Europa League like the 3-1 and 1-0 loss to Rennes and BATE Borisov respectively, but what’s common in this defeats is that the gunners were away from home. Unai Emery will probably be hoping that the gunners get a win over Valencia with a clean sheet like they did against Napoli so that they can travel for the second leg with an advantage.

Arsenal miserably lost to Leicester City on Sunday and they will be hoping to make everything right by getting a win over Valencia because losing four consecutive matches would be embarrassing to the club. Valencia also didn’t have an interesting weekend as they lost 0-1 to Eibar in the Spanish LA Liga.

Arsenal has already released a statement which confirms that Aaron Ramsey and Denis Suarez will not play again for the North Londoners this season due to their injuries. Aside from that, no new injuries except that Welbeck, Holding and Bellerin are still on the sidelines since they have long-term injuries.
Valencia midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia will miss this match because he has a thigh injury while Denis Cheryshev has been ruled out of the season due to a knee injury. Former Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin will miss the game because he is suspended but he will however be available for the second leg in Spain.
