Alex Iwobi joins Everton while Nketiah gets loaned to Leeds United

Arsenal academy graduate Alex Iwobi has left the gunners to join Everton and Eddie Nketiah has got loaned to Leeds United.

Arsenal have confirmed the departure of Alex Iwobi who leaves the Emirates Stadium to join Everton for a fee believed to be around £40million according to various reports. This certainly comes as a surprise to most Arsenal fans as they didn’t believe that they would lose Alex Iwobi on deadline day.

Alex Iwobi has been at Arsenal for almost his whole life and has been a regular starter for the North London club after making his debut a few years ago but he is however on his way to Everton after the club got tempted by the offer that was submitted. Alex Iwobi will be Arsenal’s most expensive player to have been sold, a title which was previously held by Alex Oxlade Chamberlain who made a £35million move to Everton.

ALEX IWOBI HAS OFFICIALLY JOINED EVERTON

Alex Iwobi has however in these last few years faced a lot of challenges as the Arsenal fans have heavily criticized him for poor performances and him managing to only get 3 goals last season despite being a regular has probably made the club to let him go even though he is still 23 years old. The gunners have made six signings in this transfer window and the player has already integrated many youngsters whom most are wingers so Unai Emery will be hoping that they step up and take this position.

Arsenal youngster Eddie Nketiah has been sent out on a season long loan to Championship side Leeds United and the gunners will be hoping that he gets minutes there since they wouldn’t guarantee him many chances this season because both Aubameyang and Lacazette will be staying.

EDDIE NKETIAH JOINS LEEDS UNITED ON LOAN

Eddie Nketiah was previously about to join Bristol City but a deal fell through after the player had a change of mind and then decided to join Leeds United. The Arsenal fans will be hoping that he impresses this season so that he could get more chances next season.
