The Carabao Cup third round draw has been made and Arsenal will face Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium in the week commencing the 23rd of September.

The gunners will be facing Nottingham Forest in the third round of the Carabao Cup and this game will be played at the Emirates Stadium. This match will see Arsenal’s boss Unai Emery give starts to some youngsters like Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli as they have low chances of making it to the starting eleven in the Premier League matches.
Arsenal will be delighted that the match will be played at home and as per the club’s official website, the game vs Nottingham Forest will take place in the week commencing 23rd September. The gunners could also give chances to players that have been out injured in the Carabao Cup to see if they are up-to speed. Rob Holding could play in this game as he has returned to full training and has played some matches for the Under-23 squad.
Arsenal will be hoping to get revenge on Nottingham Forest as they recently knocked them out of the FA Cup in January, 2018 in a six goal thriller. Carl Jenkinson joined Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window and so he will be making a visit to the Emirates Stadium and he will surely get a warm welcome as his a fan favourite since he is a childhood gooner.

Arsenal need to strengthen defence and midfield otherwise it's my hope that this season they'll do better than last season and they need to be determined atleast to win one two FA cup and community shield.
