Bukayo Saka has had his breakthrough in this year’s campaign and the last few months have seen him get linked with some top European clubs as he has been one of Arsenal’s best players in these first few months with Mikel Arteta as the manager. The gunners have however set a date to restart talks with Bukayo Saka over a new deal.

Bukayo Saka is currently on a weekly wage of £7,000 and he has only 15 months remaining on his contract at Arsenal and his recent form has alerted many clubs as they has already been reports that the gunners could lose the young Englishman for free or on a low fee deal but Arteta did recently say that he believes that the club will soon start negotiations with the player.

A report by The Telegraph confirms that Arsenal will restart talks with Bukayo Saka over a new deal next week when the squad which is currently self isolating returns to start training as they wait for the Premier League to restart. The report also claims that Arteta wants Saka’s contract renewal to become a priority as the youngster has shown that he can play well as a left back and could return to his natural winger position in the future.

The Arsenal fans will be hoping that the club manages to handle the Bukayo Saka situation well because they will not want to lose another talented young player as they did when Serge Gnabry left the North London club to later becoming a star for the Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich. Saka has only spoken once on his contract talks and he said that everything is left to his agent that he is currently only just enjoying his football.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
