Report: Two free players that Mikel Arteta is likely to sign in the summer
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta understands how the gunners will have a tight budget in the summer and here are two players that they might sign on free deals.

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta will be looking forward to the summer transfer window because it will be very important for him as he will be expected to use it to build his side so that it can compete in the 2020/21 campaign. We take a look at two players that the gunners could sign on a free transfer in the summer.
All Premier League clubs including Arsenal will have tight budgets due to the Coronavirus pandemic and so the gunners will be hoping to take advantage of players that will be free agents. So here are two out of contract players that Mikel Arteta is likely to sign in the upcoming summer transfer window.
1. WILLIAN
Willian will be a free agent in July since his current contract at Chelsea expires at the end of this season and it’s already been confirmed that The Blues won’t be giving him a new deal since they have already brought in his replacements. Willian is a talented winger and he has already said that he doesn’t want to leave London since his whole family have settled there and so the gunners will be hoping to use this to convince him to come to the Emirates Stadium.

Willian is a talented winger that would give Mikel Arteta the needed experience in his squad and there has already been reports that the Brazilian international is currently being urged to join Arsenal by David Luiz. The only downside of signing Willian will however is that he will soon be 32 years old and he will also ask for a big contract with huge wages.
2. CEDRIC SOARES
Cedric Soares is still not an Arsenal player because the gunners signed him on loan from Southampton but he will however not return to The Saints because his current contract there will be expiring at the end of the season. The gunners probably wanted to first test Soares in the last months of the new season but the league came to an abrupt stop due to the spread of the Coronavirus.

Soares has already came out and said that he would love to get his debut and so he will be hoping that he impresses Mikel Arteta enough to tell the club to permanently sign him in the summer transfer window since he will be a free agent by then. Soares would be an incredible addition to Arteta’s side because the only natural right back in the group is Hector Bellerin.
