Mikel Arteta’s summer transfer target gets ruled out for three months
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta will be looking to strengthen his side in the summer transfer window and one of his targets has got ruled out for a while.
Arsenal will be one of the Premier League clubs that will be anxious for the transfer window to open because they will be hoping to sign some new key players for their new boss Mikel Arteta who has had a good start to life as a manager of a big six club.
The gunners will be looking to strengthen their team in the summer but they will however also could lose some of their top players like Aubameyang and so the North Londoners will also need replacements, and that’s why it was a few weeks back reported that Mikel Arteta had identified Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic as the perfect player that would replace the Gabon international and that he would fit the style that he wants to implement at the Emirates Stadium.
It was believed that the gunners would get Luka Jovic on a loan deal in the summer transfer window because he has been awful for Real Madrid this season but it has however been confirmed by the Madrid club that the Serbian international has broken his toe and some expert analysis in Spain have speculated that he will be out for about three months. This comes as a big surprise to everyone as to how Jovic has been diagnosed with this while being in isolation but it’s going to be interesting to see if Arsenal boss Arteta will end interest in the player.
Luka Jovic was very impressive for Eintracht Frankfurt last season as he scored over 20+ goals and then made a move to Real Madrid in the 2019 summer transfer window but he has however failed to adapt to the Spanish LA Liga as he has just scored only two goals but Arsenal’s interest could be because they believe Arteta can get the best out of him and make him perform in the Premier League. We still don’t know when the new summer transfer window will open but it could open when Jovic is back to full fitness since most leagues are even yet to be finished and the date of the opening of summer transfer window is not yet communicated.
