The summer transfer window will be open in a few months time and Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta will have to sign some new players as well as making tough decisions on what players will have to be sold due to not being in his plans. Current reports are now claiming that Arteta has allowed Ainsley Maitland-Niles to leave the club.

Mikel Arteta got appointed as the new head coach of Arsenal in December last year and Ainsley Maitland-Niles started in his first five Premier League matches but the young Englishman then got totally sidelined as he stopped appearing even on the bench as it looked like the boss had decided to stop putting him in his plans as he would sometimes rather play Sokratis at right back than play someone who had played in that position throughout the season.

TodoFichajes is reporting that Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has given Ainsley Maitland-Niles the green light to leave the North London club in the upcoming transfer window since he doesn’t have the 22 year old in his plans for next season. Maitland-Niles has this season played as a right back since the start of the season since Hector Bellerin was still suffering from an injury but the youngster still didn’t like that position as he wanted to play in central midfield.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles did not play for Arsenal for many weeks before the Premier League got suspended and Mikel Arteta did give an honest reason as to why he didn’t play the Englishman anymore as he confirmed that he wants players need to be committed to playing a position that the team requires them to do so instead of showing dissatisfaction.

It will be interesting to see how much Arsenal will get in for the sale of Ainsley Maitland-Niles but they will probably need those funds since most clubs will need to first sell before they can sign new players.

I just love writing and football so much ever since the 2000's when football got popular in our country. I am a self esteemed person who believes is am always right.
