Predicted Arsenal lineup to face Manchester City with all eyes on Aubameyang and Saka
The Premier League is finally back and Arsenal will face Manchester City in their first game and here’s the predicted lineup with all eyes on Aubameyang and Saka.

The Premier League will return on Wednesday and Arsenal will be playing against the defending Champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium and so we take a look at the predicted lineup with all eyes on Bukayo Saka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Mikel Arteta will want to collect all the three points against his former boss Pep Guardiola.
PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO MANCHESTER CITY
TEXT FORM: Leno, Tierney, Mari, Luiz, Bellerin, Saka, Xhaka, Ceballos, Aubameyang, Nketiah, Pepe
FORMATION: 4-3-3
GOALKEEPING:
Bernd Leno is Arsenal’s first choice goalkeeper and since he is fully fit to play then there’s no reason to not play him in such a big game.
DEFENCE:
Mikel Arteta has for long said that he wants a balanced defence and so Mari and Luiz will start as centre backs since one is left footed and the other right footed. Bellerin and Tierney will start as fullbacks and they will have a huge task of stopping Manchester City’s wingers.
CENTRAL MIDFIELD:
The two friendly games that Arsenal have played show that Arteta could want to try a three man midfield with Saka included. With Tierney back, Arteta might want to keep Saka’s good understanding with Aubameyang by putting him on the left of the three man midfield alongside Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos.
FRONT THREE:
It’s always been clear that Arteta is not eager to play Aubameyang as a striker and so since the boss seems to trust Nketiah a lot, the young Englishman could lead the line for Arsenal against Manchester City with the Gabon international and Nicolas Pepe playing as the wingers.
