Arsenal have an exciting youngster in their academy who is tipped to be the next rising star and next big thing from the academy.

His name is Miguel Azeez born in England, he is eligible to play for England, Nigeria and Spain.

Miguel Azeez is just 17 years old and can play as a central or defensive midfielder.

Azeez has revealed he models his game on  Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets and says he wants to be “the best football player in the world”.

Azeez has been labelled as the next Vieira by fans who have seen him play for Arsenal’s U23.

Arsenal outcast Matteo Guendouzi continues to be link with an exit. The 21-year-old French midfielder’s discipline and behaviour has failed to impress Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal hierarchy and has been frozen out of the team ever since the 2-1 defeat to Brighton back in June.

Arsenal have reportedly set a £40m price tag on Guendouzi and the Gunners have attempted to offer him to clubs in potential swap deals.

Arsenal this season have given opportunities to academy players like Joe Willock, Bukayo Saka and Reiss Nelson.

Matteo Guendouzi was signed from Lorient fc in 2018 for a fee of £7m and has made 82 appearances for Arsenal.

Gendouzi’s attitude and indiscipline as led to his downfall at Arsenal

It is almost certain Guendouzi will be sold in the current transfer window and he will fetch Arsenal a hefty profit, this should pave way for the young Miguel Azeez to get a promotion to the first team.

Arsenal are in the market for a defensive midfielder as well as an attacking midfielder and could use the money obtained from Guendouzi’s sale to fund those deals and will only need to promote an exciting talent from the academy to replace him.

A keen follower and fan of Arsenal since the mid-2000s with passion for the game. I aim to write honest and interesting articles about the club I love, and to share my opinions with as many other fans as possible.
