Mikel Arteta gives satisfying update on Aubameyang’s future and Mesut Ozil’s situation

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has spoken out on the future of Aubameyang and has also commented on Mesut Ozil's situation at the club.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is yet to renew his contract with Arsenal even though its been reported that he has already accepted the offer that the club gave him. The Arsenal fans are still waiting for the club to make it official and Mikel Arteta has today also provided an update about Aubameyang’s future and also commented on the situation of Mesut Ozil.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was Arsenal’s top scorer last season and so the gunners have made trying to tie him down to a new deal one of their main priorities this summer, and the fans have spent weeks waiting for weeks for the club to officially announce that he has signed a new deal as it has been widely reported that he has agreed and signed a new contract from the North London club.

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta held his pre-match press conference ahead of their season opening Premier League game against Fulham and he was asked about the future of Aubameyang, and he simply said that the supporters that are worried about this should be relaxed as he is very confident that the club and the Gabon international will soon reach to an agreement.

“I can say that I am even more confident than I was at the end of last season when you asked me the same question 10 times!. I am very optimistic. I think [those fans who are worried] can be pretty relaxed!” Mikel Arteta told Arsenal Player.
