Report: Arsenal confirms the six players that will miss their encounter with West Ham United

Arsenal will this weekend face West Ham United and the club has confirmed the six players that will not take part in this game.

Arsenal will on Saturday welcome West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium and the gunners will be hoping to get their first home win of the season but they will however have to get all the three points without six of their players as they are still on the sidelines as per the just published team news.

Arsenal centre back Calum Chambers sustained a left knee injury in the match against Chelsea last year and he has since then been on the sidelines but the latest team news reveal that he will be back in full training next month. He will obviously miss this weekend’s game against West Ham United.

Pablo Mari has also been on the sidelines for months after an ankle injury that he sustained in the game against Manchester City at Etihad Stadium and he will also miss the game against the Hammers but the club does confirm that he will be aiming to return to full training by the end of September. Shkodran Mustafi also got a hamstring injury in Arsenal’s FA Cup semi final game against Manchester City and the club confirms that he will hope to return to full training In October.

Gabriel Martinelli didn’t play for Arsenal post lockdown as he got injured in training and the news from the club say that his situation hasn’t changed, and that he will return to full training by the end of the calendar year as they had previously confirmed. Emile Smith Rowe will be back to full training in two weeks and Sokratis will also aim to be back next week as per the latest team news.

It’s also confirmed that David Luiz is back in full training but the club doesn’t reveal if he will be available for the game against West Ham United and so those confirmed to miss are; Chambers, Mari, Martinelli, Sokratis, Smith Rowe, Mustafi.
