Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka broke into the first team last season and he has since then never looked back as he was one of the most important players in Mikel Arteta’s squad last season as they went on a winning run as well as winning the Emirates FA Cup. Mikel Arteta has opened up about what makes Saka special.

Bukayo Saka was Arsenal’s most creative player last season as he got more than 10 assists even though this was his first season playing for the first team. Saka scored his first goal for the first team in a UEFA Europa League game against Eintracht Frankfurt and he got a lot of minutes after the arrival of Mikel Arteta as it turned out that the young star was not only a great winger but could as well also be deployed as a wing back.

Bukayo Saka has also been impressive for Arsenal this season as he was involved in the two goals the gunners scored against West Ham United a few weeks back and also got his first Premier League goal last weekend at the Emirates Stadium in the game against Sheffield United. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta who has been very supportive of the young Englishman from the start was delighted for Saka that he got his first England call up and revealed what he likes most about the 19 year old.

Saka has been a utility player for Arsenal and was rewarded with shirt no.7 and a new contract

“The way he’s maturing, the way he’s assimilating everything that’s happened to him in the last few months is remarkable.” Mikel Arteta told Arsenal Media.

“Physically he has evolved. He looks a little bit older. But then how he’s able to read the game, the situation that happens to him, how he resolves the situation, how long it takes to make those decisions.”

“What I like about him is that he’s very versatile, he’s really intelligent and that he adapts and has a lot of courage to play the game. It doesn’t matter which position he plays, he acts exactly the same way. He’s so willing to learn and ask the right questions that he can set his own limits.”

I just love writing and football so much ever since the 2000's when football got popular in our country. I am a self esteemed person who believes is am always right.
