Arsenal will look to improve their squad in the January transfer window by signing a new attacking midfielder since creating chances has been one of their biggest problems this season. Mikel Arteta will definitely try to sign a midfielder in this upcoming window and a report has just revealed that it might be Real Madrid’s Isco on a short term deal.

Arsenal have struggled to create chances in the middle due to not having a good central attacking midfielder and have been forced to only create from the flanks which has sometimes not worked hence Mikel Arteta’s men finding themselves below the Premier League top 10. A report by the Telegraph has confirmed that Arsenal are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Isco on a loan deal until the end of the season but that the deal is however still in the early stages.

The report reveals that Isco is a type of midfielder that Mikel Arteta would love to have in his squad and that the Spanish midfielder might also consider making a move to the Emirates in this upcoming January transfer window since he hasn’t got that many starts in the Spanish LA Liga this season and that he is also hoping to get a spot in Spain’s squad for the Euro 2021 tournament.

The 28 year old has been among Real Madrid’s successful teams that have won the UEFA Champions League four times but he has however struggled for game time this season hence him thinking about leaving even if it is for just half a season. The Telegraph report says that the North Londoners are yet to submit an official offer but it’s obvious that the gunners would obviously be happy if they get him on a loan deal since they might not have enough funds to outright buy him in the January transfer window.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
