Martin Odegaard reveals the truth about the rumours of him getting injured

On loan Real Madrid star Martin Odegaard has come out to tell Arsenal fans the truth about the rumours of him getting injured.

Real Madrid star Martin Odegaard who is on loan at Arsenal has been very impressive for the gunners in the last few weeks and there has been a lot of frustration on social media as fans speculate whether the midfielder sustained an injury while on international duty.

Martin Odegaard was among the Arsenal players that were allowed to go to international duty and the midfielder was named in the Norway starting eleven that faced Gibraltar but he however was not able to finish the match as he had twisted his ankle. There’s immediate worry in the Arsenal fan base on social media as Odegaard is currently a fan favourite due to his recent performances and the player has finally himself come out to reveal the true details of his current condition.

Martin Odegaard who faced the media after the game was asked about his status since he was seen limping and he explained how it might not be that serious as he is hopeful to be in the squad that faces Turkey at the weekend.

“I twisted my ankle, but I think I will be fit for the game against Turkey Saturday.” Martin Odegaard told 2Sporten.

Martin Odegaard is a very important player for Arsenal at the moment as he has effectively filled the void that  had been at the club since the Mesut Ozil saga begun and his performance against Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United show how he is very instrumental to the system that Mikel Arteta wants to install at the North London club.
