Arsenal identify Brighton midfielder as Thomas Partey’s perfect partner
Arsenal have identified Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma as the ideal partner for Thomas Partey.
Arsenal are confident of signing Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma for a fee of around £30m according to the Daily Star.
The report also states that Everton, Spurs and West Ham are all interested in the 24 year-old Mali international but Arsenal are leading the race for his signature.
Mikel Arteta’s side are in need of strengthening their midfield among the key areas that need to be addressed in the summer and Arteta is believed to be a big fan of the Brighton midfielder.
Bissouma is a box-to-box midfielder with lots of energy. He is good at tackling, ball retention and dribbling.
He is already familiar with the Premier League and is seen as an ideal partner for Thomas Partey.
Arsenal are expected to sign a new central midfielder with Dani Ceballos expected to return to Real Madrid and Matteo Guendouzi’s future still uncertain.
