Arsenal release list of four players that will miss game against West Brom
Arsenal will on Wednesday face West Brom Albion in the Carabao Cup and the club has confirmed the four players that will miss the game.
The Carabao Cup has already begun and Arsenal will have to play in the second round this season as only clubs that qualified for Europe will start in the third round. The match is now just one day away and Arsenal has released the latest team news confirming the four players that will not take part in the game against West Brom Albion.
Arsenal have in the first two weeks of the season struggled with injuries and so they will hope that they don’t get any further injuries in the Carabao Cup.
1. THOMAS PARTEY
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey sustained an ankle injury a few weeks back in a friendly game against Chelsea before the start of the season and the club has confirmed that he will miss the game against West Brom Albion, and that he is aiming to return at the end of August.
2. BEN WHITE
Arsenal centre back Ben White recently got COVID-19 and the club says that he won’t take part in the game against West Brom as they are still monitoring his health and fitness ahead of the weekend.
The gunners will want to quickly have him back as he is their marquee signing of the summer transfer window and so the fans want to see what he brings to their squad.
3. EDDIE NKETIAH
Eddie Nketiah got injured in a friendly game some time back and he like in the others won’t be involved in Wednesday’s game.
4. GABRIEL MAGALHAES
Gabriel Magalhaes got a knee injury while with his country for the Olympics and he hasn’t played this season. He won’t play tomorrow as well.
