Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta faced the media today for his pre-match press conference and he revealed some news that might be worrying to gooners ahead of their game against City.
Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka is now one of the best players at the club and he last night started in the Carabao Cup second round game against West Brom Albion, and he was among the top performers in that match as he even got on the score sheet but Mikel Arteta has however confirmed that the Englishman limped after the game.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta while speaking to the press today claims that there is a possibility of Bukayo Saka missing the game against Manchester City because he got a knock in the game against West Brom last night hence making fans worried since the youngster is one of their most important players.
“He was limping after the match we’ll see how that knee reacts but he had a knock yeah.” Mikel Arteta told Football.London.
Arsenal centre back Gabriel Magalhaes has been on the sidelines for weeks now and the fans were hoping that he would be available for the game against Manchester City since Mari hasn’t impressed but Arteta also didn’t confirm whether he will play.
“He’s getting closer he’s had a couple of sessions with the team. We don’t know let’s see how he is.” said Arteta.
