Arsenal new signing ready for debut after work permit approval
Takehiro Tomiyasu is in line for his Arsenal debut after his work permit approval.
Takehiro Tomiyasu has had his work permit approved and is in line to make his Arsenal debut against Norwich.
Tomiyasu had trained with his new team-mates earlier and met Mikel Arteta as he waited for the green light.
Arsenal signed the Japanese international on deadline day for £16m from Bologna. Tomiyasu is a versatile defender capable of playing at right-back or in central defence.
The 22-year-old is comfortable using both feet and is expected to slot in at right-back after the departure of Hector Bellerin.
