Arsene Wenger reveals whether he will return as a manager to Arsenal

Arsene Wenger has been tipped for a return to Arsenal by many supporters and the Frenchman has now come out to comment on this possibility.

Arsene Wenger served as Arsenal’s manager for two decades but he however said goodbye in 2018 after making a decision that he was unable to continue after the 2017/18 season but some have since speculated that he didn’t leave the club on his free will, and that he was rather sacked. Arsenal have however regressed since the departure of Arsene Wenger and some have called for the club to bring him back as manager.

Arsene Wenger is considered to be Arsenal’s best manager in their history as he led the club to three Premier League titles including one historical one that saw them win the league without losing a single game. Arsenal however went on a trophy drought after their unbeaten season due to the financial crisis caused by building a new stadium but they however then had some good fortunes in 2010’s as they won three FA Cup trophies.

Arsene Wenger left the club in 2018 after the club had been under a lot of scrutiny for failing to challenge the big boys of the Premier League. Arsene Wenger was recently asked if he would love a return to Arsenal but he however shot down the possibility of that happening as he claimed that he is however currently just a supporter like everyone else.

“I’ve given this club the best years of my life.Today the club is in good shape. They had two tough games, the team has potential and I hope they can come back. At the moment I’m just a fan.” said Arsene Wenger in BILD Live .
