How Arsenal could lineup after the international break with a fully fit squad
Arsenal will take on Norwich after the international break as they aim to register their first win of the Premier League season.
Arsenal may have started the season on a bad note however, the Gunners were without quite a number of starters during those matches.
It will be interesting to see how Arteta will assemble his team once he has a fully fit squad with no injury concerns and he could be boosted by the return of key starters as early as this weekend.
Thomas Partey and Gabriel Magalhaes are expected to be available for this weekend’s match against Norwich while Ben White and Nicolas Pepe are closing in on recovering from their respective illnesses.
Here is how Arsenal could lineup once their key players return:
Starting off in a 4-2-3-1 but switching over to a 3-4-3 during parts of the game like in Arteta’s early days in charge of Arsenal is what we are likely to see.
Kieran Tierney is known for his attacking runs on the left flank and as he overlaps and joins the attack new signing Takehiro Tomiyasu will tuck in to form a back-three.
Bukayo Saka will drop to the midfield and act as a right wing-back completing the four man midfield. Emile Smith Rowe will join the attack on the right wing along side Nicloas Pepe on the opposite wing.
These are the tactics Arteta is likely to use this season now that he has the profiles he wanted for his setup.
