Aaron Ramsdale signing continues to look like a bargain after Leicester performance
Aaron Ramsdale was signed from Sheffield United in the summer transfer window and the move was heavily criticized.

When Ramsdale completed his move from Sheffield United no one would have imagined that he would dispose the established Bernd Leno and become Arsenal’s number 1.
The 23-year-old keeper had a shocking relegation record in his career, getting relegated at three of his previous clubs.
Arsenal’s transfer policy was questioned and criticized as to how Arsenal spent £30m on a goalkeeper like Ramsdale, a backup keeper at best and sold Emiliano Martinez for just £20m.
Ramsdale was subjected to abuse and hate messages from Arsenal fans online and had to limit comments and messages on his social media accounts.
The Englishman made sure he took his opportunity when Mikel Arteta named him in the starting team to play against Norwich in September and, he has since silenced his critics.

In the seven league games Ramsdale has played he was kept four clean sheets and conceded only four goals, the Gunners have won five games and drawn two in the process.
On Saturday Arsenal beat Leicester 2-0 and Ramsdale made 8 saves including a magnificent save from a free kick just before halftime. Ramsdale received the man of the match award and his name was on every fans’ lips.
He has become a fan favourite since his heroics in the north London derby and his latest performance has got fans publicly apologizing about their initial doubts, abuse and criticism.
With each game passing by it looks like the £24m+£6m addons Arsenal paid for Ramsdale was actually a bargain.
