Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal receives its first good news of the summer

The summer transfer window is not only about signing new players or selling them as its sometimes also the times that see clubs to try to extend the contract of their players so that no other club tempts them. Arsenal is among the clubs that wants to tie down their players in this summer transfer window and Mikel Arteta will hope that his club makes sure that they don’t lose any star player.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta decided to let go of Alexandre Lacazette this summer as he wanted to sign a new player in that position but there’s however others like Bukayo Saka that the gunners desperately want to keep at the club as he was their best performing player last season.

It has been very quiet in the Arsenal media on the contract situation of Bukayo Saka but there has however been reports claiming that clubs like Manchester City and Liverpool are interested in him. Arsenal has however received its first good news of the summer transfer window as a report by The Evening Standard has confirmed that the gunners are now confident of Bukayo Saka signing a new deal after some initial talks.

This will come as a relief to all Arsenal supporters and manager Mikel Arteta as he will hope that they don’t lose any of their important players but rather, they bring in new addictions to improve the squad. Bukayo Saka became Arsenal’s most important player after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang went off form and left, and so the gunners will hope that the Englishman signs this new deal.
